SD Controls – A perfect balance between manual operation and digital precision, featuring a user-friendly interface with digital readouts for enhanced accuracy and repeatability. SD models come with 3-axis automatic movements: Rough, Fine, and Spark Out Auto downfeed cycles. Available with working working capacities of up to 36″ x 80″. Larger models are also available upon request.

SD CONTROL FEATURES

1. Touch screen interface for easy navigation and input.
2. Proportional Valve hydraulic system with proximity sensors for safe, responsive, and quiet operation. Table speed infinitely variable from 17’/minute to 93’/minute.
3. PLC control for easy setting of reversal limits on control panel.
4. Z-axis driven by servo motors coupled with precision ballscrew.
5. Three main mode of Z axis control:
   1. Automatic mode. Automatic mode can be broken down into surface grinding and plunge grinding modes.  Just enter total stock removal amount, rough grinding step increment, finish grinding step and amount, number of spark out cycle and the machine will cycle through.  After automatic cycle, the table will park on left side and the grinding wheel comes to rest at entered retract position.
   2. Manual mode. Rapid and quarter speed rapid up and down pushbuttons.  Pulse mode allows for single step or jog stepping of set downfeed amount.
   3. Manual pulse generator (Electronic handwheel) mode. Can select *1 or *10 steps.

PNC Controls – Ideal for shops looking for automated grinding cycles with programmable multi-step operations, reducing manual intervention while maintaining high precision. PNC models come with 3-axis automatic cycles: Surface, Plunge, and Crisscross modesAvailable with working working capacities of up to 24″ x 84.6″. Larger models are also available upon request.
